(inn tablespoonful of kerosene oil to 1 gallon of enamel paint will retard drying sufficiently to enable the painter to work the paint to a smooi.li finish. The oil will not injure the gloss of the paint. The oil must he stirred in very slowly and thoroughly. Enamel paint will spread easier if It is thinned out. with benzine, which evaporates and leaves the gloss intact. The thinning out with turpentine injures the gloss. Benzine will turn white paint yellow.
