CHURCH SERVICES

‘ -4 Rev. H. G. Hercus will speak at the King’s Theatre to-morrow morning and evening. The subject of his evening address will be, "Is Jesus Christ God?"

At the Church of Christ on Sunday evening Mr Foster’s subject will be, "Sir Conan Doyle’s Spirit Visitants — Whence Come They?” Commandant and Mrs Home will have charge of the services at the Army Hall to-morrow at the usual hours. On Sunday anniversary will bo conducted by Major and Mrs Wallace. "God’s plan for the disposal of sin, under both Old and New Covenants” is the theme at the Strand Theatre tomorrow night. Bov. R. Mackie will preach in St. Andrew’s Church, Claudelands, tomorrow morning and evening, and at Oordonlon 2 p.m. Morning subject, "Failure’s Torment, Query and Enlightenment”; evening, “Seats that Ought to be Filled and Seats that Ought to be Empty.” Mr D. M. Osborne will preach at Newstcad at 7.30 p.m. Mr Crespin, of Auckland, will conduct the service at 11 am. in London Street Methodist Church. At 7 p.rn. Rev. H. Ford will give an address; the subject is, “Spiritualism and Spirit World Communications” (“Relations to Christian Faith,” third address). An organ recital will lake place from 6.45 to 7 p.m. The retiring collections at all services will be for North Island orphanages. The services to-morrow at First Church, King Street, will he conducted by Rev. J. T. Burrows. The morning subject will be "Death and the Intermediate State,” and in the evening. "From India’s Coral Strand”; and there will be a young people’s missionary rally in the afternoon. The service at Whatawhata will be taken by Mr Hoope r. On Monday evening Rev. Hooper will speak in the Methodist Hall, London St., under the auspices of “The Prernillenial Advent Association,” when Hie subject will be “The coming of the King.”
