The weather was threatening, but otherwise the gathering was brought off under favourable conditions. Won by three lengths. Time, 2.9 3-5. Railway Hack Handicap.—Poanui J, Recreation 2, Alfa Laval 3. Won by a length. Time, 1.16 1-5. Borough Handicap.—Over There 1, Nunerrant 2, Gatherer 3.
