Gentlemen, We believe that you are desirous of discovering some means wherebv vou can combat and eventually overcome the present state of low production, and thus help to bring down the high cost of living to its normal level. We realise that it is your aim to help the country by producing the greatest amount of butter-fat possible, and as the industry in which you arc engaged is of primary importance to the State, then, without doubt, it is the duty of all to assist Vou to attain your desired end. The average yield per cow for the Dominion is 160 lbs of Buttorfat, and if the Dairy Farmer can raise that average to 180 lbs or 'iOOibs per cow, then he is doing a great service to the community, for in other words, he is increasing production, and it must of necessity follow that the higher the average, the lower the cost of production.
