A ntotor lorry carrying ten soldiers at Rallyeshane was held op by carts flung across the road. Sinn Reiners behind a high hedge opened tire, using liumiis and revolvers. The skirmish continued for an hour. One soldier was killed and six wounded. Nevertheless Hie rest managed to drive off Hie Sinn Feiners though outnumbered. MR ASQUITH'S CRITICISM.
