RAILWAYMEN'S CLAIMS
EXPERT EVIDENCE. FURTHER £35,000,000 ENTAILED. (■Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, May 19. At the Wages Board enquiry into the railwaymen's claims for mcreased pay an accountant produced tig ires to show that the cost of increased wages over the pre-war period sums was already £100,000,000, and the new claim wouid involve a further £35,000,000.
