OPPOSITION TO ALLIANCE.

The Morning Post's Tientsin, correspondent says that Englishmen in the Far Last almost unanimous!:.' oppose renewing the Anglo-Japanese Alliane.e in its present form, fearing il would involve Britain discreditably in Japan's Eastern policy. They believe the Alliance prevents a more cordial AngloAmerican co-operation in China, which is indispensable for asolution of China's difficulties. The Chines)."' press bitterly comment on the possibility of a renewal of the Alliance on the existing terms.
