FRENCH RAILWAYS
UNIFICATION OF CONTROL. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) PARIS, May 18. A Government Bill introduced into the Chamber of Deputies proposes the administrative unification of all French railways. It is planned that control shall be exercised by a super-director-ate of Government workers and owners, combined with common dividends and sinking fund, lo make up any losses, and uniform rates on the basis of profit and loss on all lines.
