Wednesday •JO.'3 Thursday 29.30 Yesterday was unsettled, with heavy sleet showers: a storm of considerable force passing over this morning, with high winds and heavy rain. The barometer lias fallen since last reading, but has now a rising tendency. Indications arc for improved weather conditions; to-day will continue showery, with high south to south-west winds, backing to south, and gradually improving.
