INCREASE IN GARRISONS. MORE BUILDINGS DESTROYED, (Australian and N.Z. Gable Assn.), : Received May 16, 5.5 p.m. ■ LONDON, May 14. Sir Nevil Maoready has announced that the Cabinet has agreed to largely increase the garrison in Ireland, and these reinforcements are proceeding there immediately. A party of armed men surrounded Cashel courthouse, saturated the build-' ing with petrol, and set it on Are, completely destroying the premises. The police barracks at Carruchburg have been blown up. The Dunraven post office was raided, and official letters seized. _ , INCREASED MILITARY ACTIVITY* IN OUTLYING DISTRICT. (United Service.) Received May 15, 5.30 p.m. '■ LONDON, May 14.' ' The Evening News says that an official denial is given to a sensational report from Dublin Nevil Macready’s plans include the establishment of hundreds of blockhouses strongly garrisoned, implying the virtual reoonquest of Ireland is intended. The Government lias, however, decided to greatly increase the military activities in the outlying districts where the Sinn Reiners are usurping the locai authority. A CAMPAIGN OF DESTRUCTION. . \ ■ (Press Assn.—lmperial News Service.)] Received May 16, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, May 14, A Dublin Castle bulletin states that 50 Irish police barracks were destroyed on the. night of the 12th. Over 20 income tax offices were attacked, and books and documents" seized. Several courthouses were also attacked. Eighteen further police barracks and five income tax offices were destroyed by Are on the 14th, explosives being used. The Maynooth Town Hall was amongst those destroyed on the 14th,
