AN INSANE PRISONER. DUNEDIN, Tuesday. James Kirkman, a prisoner awaiting trial at, the Supreme Court on charges of forgery and theft, attempted suicide by hanging in the gaol yard this monning. The Crown Prosecutor said the man was obviously insane, and Judge Sim remanded turn to the next silling of the Supreme Court.
