THE RAILWAY STRIKE
A DANGEROUS-INCIDENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. At the. Lower Mutt Court. Leslie Wilson and Glrfrence Wilson were each lined £25 for obstructing the forking of the railways, and £6 each for trespassing on the railways. The qases arose out of incidents during the railway strike when defendants turned off the station lights as a train approached the Mutt station. The stationmaster said that, only by good fortune was a serious ''accident ••voided. * The Magistrate, Mr Page, said that lie would have sentenced accused to gaol without the option of a fine if it had been possible under the Act, »as such acts were serious, and coukl not be tolerated.
