REPUBLICAN ANXIETY. TO PASS THE RESOLUTION. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) WASHINGTON, April ?5. Republican Senators are now anxious to have the Senate Act quickly on tlie peace resolution before lhe adjournment, which is to take place shortly, in order to be able to tell their constituents that tliey did not delay the, return of a Peace status. This is considered to be a campaign movement. Few, however, believe tiiat tlie President will sign such a resolution or that Congress will be able to pass it over his veto.
