The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken nt 9 a.m. daily, and weather indications, are kindly supplied by Mr James Brenwer:
Thermometer. Max. Min Friday 63 51 Saturday 68 50 Barometer.
Saturday 30.0 Monday 30.0 During tne past 48 hours the weather was fair, with light northerly winds. Barometer steady, with falling tendency. The indications are for unsettled weather, with light rain showers to-day, with winds backing to a southerly direction,, and probably clearing to-morrow. The barometr will rise soon.
The Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for moderate to strong northerly winds. The weather ••"•'ill probably bo dull and overcast. Rain probable. The barometer has a falling tendency.
