FREEZING WORKS EMPLOYEES

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAIHAPE, Saturday.

Every employee at the Taihapc freezing works struck work this morning. Complaints Rave boon accumulating, but the main issue was that of wages. The chairman of Hie company had a long interview with the men last night, and conceded the 37s Gd asked for. He left fully understanding that a satisfactory basis had been reached. This morning not even a fireman was found on duty. The men would not even move the dead carcases into the freezer.
