EVERYBODY’S
An excellent and varied Paramount programme opens to-night, the chief item being a Thos. 11. Ihce production starring lovely Enid Bennett, the famous Australian star. This, her latest picture, is entitled "Fuss and Feathers,” aml Jit is a vehicle admirably chosen to depict the winsome personality and charm of the dainty star. The story is quite original and contains a romantic love element. There is also another of those clever satirical farces by .lames Montgomery Flagg, entitled "One Every Minute.” In addition will be shown a magnificent Burton Holmes film, and a good Gazette. All the pictures arc new, orchestral music is provided, and prices are Is Id and 6d. KING’S THEATRE.
The great W. S. Hart drama, “A Gambler’s Seal.” heralded as “far and a wav the best drama the Westerner has ever prodaecu, opens to-day. Sylvia Bremer, Aimu Reubens, and Mildred Harris, the three noted Triangle beauties, support Hart in the piay with wonderfully fine effect, each being admirably, suited to the character presented. “There are many hair-raising athletic feats in the picture. The most notable is Hart's leap of exactly 20 feet from Hie gaol window to the back of a horse standing below. Tin; big bmozy “Fighting Trail” will thrill its patrons as heretofore, and an uproarious Keystone comedy, a charming travel series, and an interesting Gazette will conin’, etc the attractive list. THEATRE ROYAL,
The quality and quantity bill which opens to-dav is of extra magnitude and special merit. The chef d’ouvre will be Clvde Pitch’s splendid story. “Her Great Match,” in which the stage -and screen celebrity, Gail Kane, presents, a performance under the Metro banner that has earned for her high praise from press and public. Of her performance the Motion Picture "World wrote- “ There is nothing artificial about Gail Kane; she is always human mid real—a woman with a woman’s heart and emotions—not a mere puppet.” The story is of a prince who desired an American timber-king’s daughter to become his morganatic wife, a position with all the privileges of a wife but minus the privileges of a queen. Popular Douglas Fairbanks will star m the second feature, “Reggie Mixes It,” one of his breeziest and brightest successes, in live acts. Comic relief will be supplied by a special Christie comedy.
