SALE OF CROWN SECTIONS.

HIGH PRICES REALISED

(By Telegraph.—Special to Times. ) MATAMATA, Thursday.

High prices ruled for 4 5 Crown sections in the Matamata town area to-day. The area of each section was in the vicinity of a quarter of an acre and one in Tower road realised £4OB. The upset value of the lot was £4770, but the amount received at auction was £6350. Mr Mclntosh, of the Auckland Grown Lands Office, conducted the sale. The values were much higher than expected, outside buyers being present.
