The Farmers’ Co-operative Auc- | tioneering Company, -Ltd., report;— j There was a fair yarding of cattle, sheep and pigs at our Hamilton sale yesterday, as well as a few dairy cows. Beef was in fair demand at freezing rales, and the tone of the market for store sheep was distinctly higher. Store cattle still continued depressed. Wo quote: Pat steers £l7, lighter £l3 to £l4 7s 6d; heavy fat cows £l3 7s, medium £ll 6s to £l2, lighter £lO 7s to £11; fat heifers,£lo; fresh conditioned cows, £8 10s; store cows £5 10s to £G 10s; two-year steers, £4 10s; 18-month /heifers, £3 7s 6ci; 18-month Shorthorn •heifers, in calf, £6 ss; 18-month Jersey heifers, in calf, £7 ss; 12 to 15-rnonlh heifers, in calf, £4. Fat sheep. 3is: fat ewes and wethers, shorn, 28s Cd to 29s 3d; forward two-tooth wethers, 23s to 295; lambs, 11s to 17s. Heavy baconers £6 12s to £7 Is, lighter £5 17s to £6 6s; porkers, £4 17s to £5
