COMING SALES
At Matamata to-morrow, commencing at 11,30 a.m., the Farmers' Cooperative Auctioneering Co.. Ltd., will otter over 700 head of cattle and 300 sheep. Further particulars be had on reference to the last page of this issue. Attention is drawn to the auction sale of fruit and vegetables advertised by Messrs Ellerm and Day at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) at their auction mart, Ward Street. Messrs Loughlin Bros, will sell on Thursday, at 1 p.m., at their mart, Victoria Street, a large entry of poultry, Christmas hams, new potatoes, besides household furnishings and sundries. Messrs J- H.„ Few and Co. call attention to their annual sale of poultry and produce for the Christmas season. A splendid entry is forthcoming, and in view of the shortage of hams, it is most satisfactory to note that a large consignment of prime hams and bacon will be sold under the hammer. Another special line will be about 70 pairs of men's boots, and, ■considering the ever rising eo't of footwear, this should be most welcosne to th e pnbSic of Hamflt-on.
