We lield our weekly sale on Thursday at Hamilton, the following prices being- realised:—Fresh conditioned cows, £7 12s Gd to £8 10s; store cows, £0 to £7 Is; two-year-old steers, Jersey cross, £0 to £6 17s 6d; yearling heifers, £G 5s 'to £6 10s; yearlings, mixed sexes, 36s to £2 4s; calves, 12s; bacon pigs, £5 to £6 18s; porkers, £3 8s to £i 12s Od; weaners, 27s 6d to £2 Is. LONDON MARKET. Messrs Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., are in receipt of a cable from their London house, under date of the 24th inst., reading as follows: —"Sheepskins, attendance of buyers at the sale is large and competition good. 12,600 bales were offered and all sold. Prices for full woolled merinos and fine crossbreds are 15 per cent, higher; medium crossbrcds 10 per cent, higher; coarse crossbreds 5 per cent, higher; low crossbreds are irregular, and prices are higher from par to 10 per cent. Next sheepskin sale will be opened on January 15th, when 12,000 bales will be offered."

OPENING SALE AT MARTON. The New Zealand Farmers' Co-op-erative Distributing Co. report having held their opening sale in their new ferro-concrete yards at Marton on Thursday, the 4th inst. A very large yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward, but owing to the continued dry weather, bidding was inclined 10 drag; however, in a large number of cases vendors met the market and a considerable quantity of both sheep and cattle were disposed of. We quote as follows:—Two-tooth wethers, 24s 104; two-tooth ewes, 235; aged qwes, in lamb, in wool, 20s to 22s 9d; younger sorts, 32s 6d to 37s 6d; dry ewes, 16s 4d; mixed sex hoggets, in wool, 25s 9d; fat ewes, 28s 6d; fat lambs, 23s 6dMwo-tooth rams, 23s to £2 2s; four-year bullocks, £l3 15s; fat heifers, £l2; fat cows, £ll 5s to £7 10s; fat steers, £l2 2s; empty cows, £7 8s 6d to £6 15s; empty heifers, £6 16s to £7 2s 6d; two-year steers, £4 16s to £7 12s; yearling steers, £5 8s; yearling heifers, £2 16s to £5 lis; Shorthorn bulls, £9 10s to £10; cows in profit, £6 to £l4 10s; weaner pigs, 40s, 41s.
