Armstrong) to mark j the occasion of his recent marriage, j The Deputy Mayor. Cr Taylor, handed over the gifts, and referred to tha j valued services Mr Armstrong had per- | formed in the public interest?; and for I the welfare of Te Awamutu. All the ] councillors present and the clerk j added their tributes, and Mr Ann- | strong sincerely thanked his fellow | councillors and the stall' for their gifts | and the words of appreciation towards : himself and Mrs Armstrong.
