THE WEATHER.

The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m. daily, and weather indications, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: Thermometer. Max. Min. Indications are for fair and partly overcast weather during the next 48 hours, with occasional light showers. "Winds veering from south-west to a more northerly direction. Tile "Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds at times, "but decreasing. The weather will probably prove cold and showery. Barometer rising."
