Sir Agnes, Cereherus, Sir Ralph, Sonnino, Borclino, Hiero, Leaping Burn. Won by a short head, with two lengths between second and third. Time, 1.44 1-5.-Avouhead Handicap.—Brackenficld 1. Tama-a-roa 2, Black Mountain 3. Also started: Omahu. Pretty ( Bobby, Be lair, Sysyphus, denshire, Spyglass, Imarihhoii, All Serene, Rangi Aroha, Tho Sapper, Grand Duchy, Green Son, Bonnetter. Single Rose, Deflection, General Retain, Miramar, Won by three lengths. Time, 1.30 2-5. The totalisator returns show that £55,832 were put through, Enfield Steeplechase.—Mnngawanonga 1, San Sebastian 2, Tradition 3. Also started : St. Curio. 'Won by 100 yards. Time, 4.11.
