THE SEAMEN'S STRIKE
PROSrECTS OF SETTLEMENT. FOUR MAIN POINTS CONCEDED. COUNCIL ADVISES RESUMPTION. (United Press Association.) Received August 11, 10.15 a.m. MELBOURNE, August 11. It is unofficially reported that the Government is conceding the four main points of the seamen's claims, but has refused !.i release Walsh until work is resumed. It is also reported that the Seamen's Council lias recommended the resumption of work on these, terms.
