The .following, Durometer and tnermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m. daily, ind wcatner indications, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: — Thermometer. Max. Min. Fridav 54 42 Saturday 54 39 Barometer. Saturday 30.25 .Monday 30.30 During Saturday the weather was fair and bright. Sunday became overcast and light rain showers fell during the evening. The winds were northerly. The present indications are for fair, and partly overcast, weather during tho next 48 hours, with winds backing to a northerly direction, followed by unsettled conditions. Ihe barometer has a rising tendency.
The Weather Bureau wires: "The indications are for southerly, moderte to strong winds. The weather will probably be cool and changeable. Barometer little movement.
