PLOTS IN ENGLAND

PLANS FOR SOVIET REPUBLIC. THE MOVEMENT OVERTHROWN. FEMALE EXTREMIST IMPLICATED. (United Service.) (Received August 8, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, August . The arrested Swede, who brought £GOOO from Bela Kun to England via Stockholm, is Zacharassen, who is charged that he delivered a scaled packet to a female extremist, who denies complicity. The Swede's confession implicates a certain extremist organisation with which the female is connected. The police seized at Plaiston plans for the formation of an English Soviet republic, the documents affirming that arms ihd bombs were secreted at certain spots at Plaiston. Responsible British Labour leaders are not implicated in the plot, but there is a danger that they had unwittingly become tools. Although it is believed that the plot has been overthrown the effect is expected to be felt in many quarters of Britain in the near future.
