A meeting of school teachers, committeemen and householders, which was addressed by Mr Veitch, M.P., and others, carried a resolution: "That the Government be urged to increase the education vote to at least £3,000,000 order to make possible comprehensive, reforms to bring the New Zealand system into line with modern .simditions." )!
