The Council of Three met and debated the Italian and Kaiochau questions-. it is reported that a solution of the Kiaochan question. China and Japan accepting, has been reached. PROBABLE GERMAN DEMANDS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) ' Received April 1, 9.5 a.m. NEW YORK, April 30. The World's Paris correspondent slates that the German pence delegates will ask that Germany be given a mandatory over some of her former possessions in the Far East. As this wilt be refused, they will ask that Germany be granted unqualified trading privileges in all lands con trolled by the League of Nations. PRESENTATION OF THE TREATY. TO BE MADE ON MONDAY. Received May 1, li a.m. PARIS, April 30. -i All the Allied belligerents except Italy will attend the Conference’s plenary secret session on Saturday, when they will be invited to ratify the text of the preliminary Peace Treaty. The German delegation will receive the text on. MonuSy. • ■ KAIOCHAU JAPANESE SETTLEMENT. (By Official Cablegram.) Received May 1, 12.50 p.m. PARIS, April 30. The Kaiochau dispute has been settled. Japan has agreed to surrender Tsinchau to China in due course.
