AUSTRALIAN SUGAR INDUSTRY(United Press Association.) Received April 30, 12.5 a.m. SYDNEY, April 29. A Royal Commission lias opened an inquiry into the sugar industry. The general manager of the Colonial Sugar Company submitted a lengthy statement, dealing with the national value of the sugar industry. THE WOOL MARKET. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received April 29, 10.35 p.m. LONDON, April 28. The Bradford wool market is firm, with a good inquiry. AMERICAN ENTERPRISES. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received April 29, 11.35 p.ni. WASHINGTON, April 29. Mr A. S. 'Burleson, the United States Postmaster-General, has recommended to Mr Wilson that the telephones and telegraphs be returned to private owners as soon as the necessary legislation is enacted.
