Harry Hawker, the British airman, nVho with Grieve proposes to 'fly the Atlantic, but has been delayed ■starting rowing to ice-floes off the Newfoundland coast, made,.the following anent: "If forced to descend 'I don't doubt we shall be rescued. Tf not, ■someone will find our records 'of observations, which should -grerttiy aid 'Others trying to make toe paseas*."
