The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m. daily, and weather indications, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: — Thermometer. Max. Min. Friday 76 54 Saturday 69 57 Barometer. Saturday fIW 30.40 Monday ...s*., 30.50 , During the, past 48 hours the weather has been fair, with cold- nights and winds, mostly from north-east. This morning the. barometer has reached a record readings 36,50. This is the highest reading registered since our records have been kept for Hamilton. On September 14, 1918, thb barometer registered 30.45. Indications are for fair and partly cloudy weather to-day, followed by sudd’en changes in the ’weather conditions, winds veering to a northerly direction, followed by unsettled weather. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for moderate to strong ■ ■ terly winds, and backing by east to north. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. The barometer has a falling tendency.
