Senator Hitchcock, speaking before the Foreign Relations .Committee, said that the spread of Bolshevism in Europe would •do more to hasten peace and solidify the Allies than anything yet devised. , PROPAGANDA IN AUSTRALIA. BY" DESERTING SAILORS. (United Press Association.) Received March 25, 10.50 p.m. SYDNEY', March 25. Bolshevism is the main topic of conversation on the waterfront, where an increasing number of Finnish and Russian deserters from ships openly discuss propaganda. They enlist sympathy by adopting the attitude of a desire to return to Russia, but are unable to obtain the Federal Government’s permission to leave. The Government is considering more stringent action against deserters.
