PARLIAMENT
ANOTHER HOLIDAY.
(By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Parliament had another holiday today, in celebration of the Austrian armistice.
Mr Massey moved the adjournment in commemoration of the splendid news, and Sir J. G. Ward seconded. Both Ministers made patriotic speeches without opening any new ground. Mr Holland occupied half an hour telling the House about the evils of secret diplomacy and suggesting that the sacrifices of the war would be vain unless they led to the abolition of capitalism ana the establishment of a new social order. He thought that all the belligerent countries had sown the seeds of revolution.
After other members had spoken the House adjourned until to-morrow. The Council made a similar adjourn, merit.
The debate on the Address-in-Reply will be resumed to-morrow.
