—«. CAN MEET NEW ZEALAND SHORTAGE. (United Press Association.) Received Julv 10, 10.15 p.m. MELBOURNE, July 10. Senator Russell, Director of the Wheat Pool, denies that the pool has sold 1,000,000 bushels to New Zealand, but says that Australia can meet any shortage there. Received Julv 10. 10.40 p.m. ' SYDNEY, July 9. The Farmers' Conference resolved that the guaranteed price for wheat should not he less than 5s a bushel. Many farmers are selling out because the Government's price is 100 low.
