HAMILTON RUGBY UNION. A meeting of the sub-committee was held last night, Mr C. Speight presidAn application was received from Te Aroha ior a representative match at that place.—lt was decided to send a representative team from the senior grade on Saturday week. The Te Kuiti Club wrote stating that they were prepared to play the junior representatives on the 24th August.—The secretary was instructed to arrange for a match on either the 20th or 27 th July or 4th August. Registrations were received from the City Club. The following is the draw for Saturday : Seniors: Citv v. High School, Steele Park (Mr McGeehan). Juniors: Old Bovs v. High School A, Seddon Park, No. 1 (-Mr Allopp); Citv v. Frankton, Steele Park (Mr Rule). School Matches (1 p.m., Seddon Park): Hamilton West v. High School C (Mr Bowling); Hamilton West v. Frankton (Mr Qualtrough). HIGH SCHOOL v. CITv. At Steele Park on Saturday the Hia;h School and City -senior • teams will play off for the cUmpuns lip, ard should the weather conditions ho -ueh for fast play a fine spectacular game should eventuate. From all accounts the High School gave a finished exhi- \ bition of Rugby at Auckland last Saturday, while'the City team has trained pn steadily since their last meeting with the students. With the conditions favourable a large attendance mav be expected. The following are the teams:— High School (Red and Black): Rvan, Lennihan, Peebles, O'Connor. Cowlev, Jackson, Mclvor, Speight, Fricker, Gilmour, Mackay, Brown, Prosser, Waterhouse. Kirk. •Citv (Maroon): Kelly, Campbell, Johnston, Cornaga, Buckingham, Clarkin. Coombes, Jacques, Brain, Clarkson, Sow man, Bayly, Williams, Going, Ormsby. A curtain-raiser betwen the City and Frankton juniors will be played at 2 p.m. The following will represent Frankton against Citv, at Steele Park:— Kellv. Edmonds. Johnson. Hudson.' Zeigler.
