TE KOWHAI.

Farmers' Club Meeting. The monthly meeting of the Te Kowhai Farmers' Club was held on Wednesday, Mr ,T. McKenzie (vicepresident) presiding over an exceptionally good attendance. The dairy industry in all its phases was discussed; butter, cheese, casein, and even glaxo, were touched on by various speakers, and a general and spirited debate ensued. It was decided to write and request Mr W. Goodfellow, of Hamilton, to deliver a lecture on "Cheese" at an early date. The manure question was also brought up, and as doubt was expressed as to whether manures could be obtained by shareholders direct from the Horotiu works, the secretary was directed to write and ascertain. It was decided to hold a working bee on Saturday to complete the additions to the post-ofllce, and another on Monday evening to do some necessary work on the club-room. Messrs C. Bunker and A. E. Price were elected members of the club.
