SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY

The anniversary services in connection with the London Street Methodist Sunday School took place yesterday. 1 hare were large congregations in the moiling aud afternoon,bbu t unfortunately, the attendance at the evening service was considerably affected by the very heavy rain which fell. Rev. E. O. Blamires occupied the pulpit at each service, and gave addresses appropriate to the occasion. The singing by the children, under the conductorship of Mr T. S. Webster, was a special feature, and was much enjoyed by those present. To-morrow (Tuesday) night the anniversary will l>e continued with a tea and public meeting, at which songs and recitations will be given by the children. Mrs Blamires will 'present the prizes won during the year.
