Messrs Alfred Buekland and Sous report:—On Wednesday, at our Westfield weeklv fat stock market we sold fat cattle to the number of 293 head, comprising IGI steers, 116 cows and heifers, and fix hulls. Competition was steady throughout, with values unchanged. Choice ox sold to £2 lis, prime ox, £2 7s to £2 9s; rough and plain beef, £2 to .£2 ss; cow s and heifers, £2 to £2 7s; steers ranged in price from £lO 10s to £22. the latter price for a Holstein steer; cows and heifers. £8 10s to £lB 15s.
