ARMED RESISTANCE IN THE UKRAINE. EXPORT OF FOODSTUFFS IMPOSSIBLE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received April 26, 11.30 a.m. AMSTERDAM, April 25. German papers state that the Ukrainian peasants are offering armed resistance to the German troops, making the export of foodstuffs impossible. KORNILOt F REPORTED KILLED. HIS FORCES ROUTED BY SOVIETS. (Reuter's Telegrams.) Received April 26, 1.30 p.m. MOSCOW, April 25. The Soviet forces routed a Korniloff detachment near Chaterinodar, on the 17th. Prisoners state that Korniloff was seriously wounded and died.
