A Press Association telegram from Dunedin announces the death of Captain Robert Strang, for many vears Marine Superintendent for the Union Steamship Company.

Among the names drawn in the ballot published to-day is that of Graham Aitken, son of Mr and Mrs J. G. Aitken, of Frankton, who left with the 13th Rel inforcements. He was the third of the family to volunteer, Harold having left with the 2nd Reinforcements, and Claude (who was wounded and is returning shortly) with the 7th. •
