The Rangiaohia Road Board proposes to stop the following road under the provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1908" : A road containing 3 acres 1 rood and 38 perches (more or less), running between Sections 60 and 61 and Section 65, of the Parish of Mangapiko. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Waipa County Council will be held at the office of the Council at Ohaupo, on TUESDAY, the eleventh day of September, 1917, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, to confirm a resolution passed by way of soecial order, at a special meeting of the Council held on the fourteenth day of August, 1917. whereby the Council made the following By-law:— ''The Traffic on Roads By-law Amendment By-law, 1*917.' In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it by "The Counties Act. 1908',, and its Amendments, and "The Public Works Act, 1908," and its Amendments and of every other power it thereto enabling, the Waipa County Council makes and ordains this Bylaw : 1. This By-law may he cited and referred to as "The Traffic on Roads By-law Amendment P»y-law, 1917," and shall come into force on the first day of October, 1917 2. This By-law shall be read with and form part of "The Traffic on Roads By-law, 1917," in like manner as if the same had been enacted therein. 3. Every vehicle plying for hire for the carriage of passengers or goods in the County of Waip», shall have affixed thereto in some conspicuous place a plate with the words "Waipa County Licensed Vehicle," with the number of the license in words and figures, at least an inch long, and such plate shall be deemed to be the "number plate" mentioned in Sections 10 and 11 of "The Traffic on Roads Bv-law, 1917."
