Received June 18, 8.5 p.m. LONDON, June 18. Mr Percival Phillips states that one of the neatest achievements in the recent fighting was the capture of Infantry Hill, near Monchy, where two companies of Bavarians were surprised breakfasting in the trenches. The British quickly slipped across without firing a shot, and brought back 17 within ..two minutes. It was the quickest and most effective little job in the recent operations, the Bavarians being compelled to leave their ■teaming coffee.
