The War Office reports that British heavy artillery, which ,is eooperatin-g in tiie Italian offensive on the Julian front, is affording material assistance. The New York Times Hague correspondent reports that the Dicp Post states that Germany intends to divide Alsace-Lorraine between Bavaria and Prussia. The plan represents the demands of the Central Party. The correspondent learns that there will be furious jealousy in Saxony and other States which have not received a bribe.
