TRAINING CAMPS

FARMERS URGE DISCONTINUANCE.

At the meeting of the Hamilton branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Lnion on Saturday, Mr Milne referred to the territorial training camps, pointing out that at the present time they were increasing the labour difficulty as far as farmers were concerned. He moved: "That in the opinion of this branch the territorial training camps should be discontinued during the continuation of the Mar." This was seconded by Mr Masters and carried unanimously, and a copy of the resolution is to be sent as a remit to the Provincial Executive.
