RETURNED SOLDIERS' ASSN.

ANNUAL MEETING

The annual general meeting of the Hamilton Branch of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association was held last evening, Major G. J. Rastrick, president, in the chair.

The balance-sheet for the period ended 31st March last was read and adopted. The total receipts amounted to £496 Bs, and the expenditure £35 10s lid, leaving a credit balance of £460 17s Id.

The election of officers resulted as follows:—President. Major G. J. Rastrick (unanimously re-elected); vicepresident, Mr J. McGeehan; treasurer, Mr J. Boyes; committee, Messrs J. McPherson, R. Hathaway, E. Brogan, J. de Silva, P. Strong, T. Craig, R. Lydstor, P. Pocock, E. Purdom, and Crawford Watson. It was decided to hold a reunion of all returned men in the Waikato on Anzac night, 25th? inst., in the form of a dinner, to which all honorary members will be invited.
