Under the pretext that they have rendered assistance to the Roumanian invaders, the Hungarian authorities have sentenced to death and executed 236 Transylvanian Roumanians, including the principal intellectuals in Klausenburg, and several professors, doctors and priests in Kronstadt. Eleven hundred were sentenced to servitude for life, and the property of upwards of GOO confiscated.
