GERMANS IN MEXICO

AN ARMY OF 150,000.

NEW YORK, March 27

Galveston, Texas, reports indicate that an army of 150,000, entirely Germans, is being formed in Mexico, to seize the Government, confiscate American and British property and make war on the United States. Agents for the movement revealed their plans to Germans in Galveston, whom they sought to enlist. They stated that the organisation was already assured, and tiiat arrangements were being made to join the strongest Mexican faction. Whether this meant Carranza or Villa was not explained. It is estimated that 1000 Germans have crossed daily into Mexico.
