Mr Pence has arranged to work a Pathe machine from Undress circle for spot lights, etc. Considering the amount of electrical effects and current that will be used Mr Wilson has agreed to take charge of the switch board, etc. Mr Wilson is also erecting the electric table for Mr Lints to dance on. This novel turn is introduced into the number entitled "The Masquerader." Arrangements are well in hand for staging the production commencing next Wednesday, the 14th. Mrs A. Hyde, who has charge of the wardrobe, etc., is doing some great work, whic:i can only have one result when assisted by the lighting effects—"a gorgeous wardrobe.' The orchestra is under Mr Gittos, at the piano, with Mr Mcintosh as leader (violin). The music will be quite a feature of the production, as special parts have been written by Mr Mcintosh for several new and novel items. The plan is now open at Paul's Book Arcade. With such a varied programme all tastes are catered for, unci popular prices, 3s 2s and Is, the theatre should be, as in other towns, packed every night.
