Results:— Trial Handicap.—Springbok 1, Kereone 2, Sandy Patch 3. Scratched: Kingstead. Won bv eight lengths. Time, 3.52 1-5. March Handicap.—Tresac 1, Confusion 2, Sirene 3. Otahuhu Cup.—August Child 1, Harold Junior 2, Wallace Wood 3. Ascot Handicap.—Astnrio 1, Miss Chevalier 2, Ballgana 3. NAPIER PARK RACES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association). NAPIER, Saturday. The weather was fine and the course good for the second day's racing, when the attendance was very large. Results : Omahu Hurdles.—Hylaus 1, The Summit 2, Surtax 3. The winner led all the way. Time, 2.48 1-5. Telegraph Handicap.—Sahana 1, Car. drona 2, Dusky Eve 3. Scratched: Raumanuwhiri. Just won on the post. Time, 1.15 1-5. WAIMATE TROTTING CLUB. The attention of owners of trotting horses is drawn to the programme of the Waimate Trotting Club for their meeting Easter Monday, nominations for which and the Futuritv Stakes, 1918, and 1919, close on the 19*st inst.
