CORPORAL A. R. MADILL. Corporal Adam R. Madill, who was reported missing in a casualty list, published yesterday, is the fifth son of Mr VV. H. Madill, and a brother of Mr R M Mad 11, of Hamilton. He was an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church, and at the time he enlisted was in charge of the Whakatane district; He felt it his duty to go 3s a combatant! ' • ■' jl and, tacugh offered a chaplaincy en- 1 nsted as a private, and has been raised to corporal since he left New Zealand He was educated at the Pukekohe school, and took the theological course ■• the Otago University, being ordained about five years ago. He was alwut 34 years of age and was very popular with all whom he came in contact and the hope will be general that news' of his safety will soon be forthcoming He has three other' brothers, namely • Mr John W. Madill (now in camp at ' Trentham), the Rev. J. D. C. Madill, ef %i ?, t . ra " or l . d Presbyterian Church, and Mr W. H. Madi.l, of Auckland.
